This workshop is open to women who have experienced childbirth in the past year. In this workshop we will be discussing the physical, mental and emotional aspects of self-care when providing for a child during their first year of life. We will discuss the cascade of physiologic changes that most often occur in women's bodies after childbirth and will offer postural alignment for daily activities, foundational strength building exercises, and breathing routines for healing and stress management. We will also offer some nourishing and simple recipes for snacks and teas.
Cicely Conway is an acupuncturist, massage therapist and yoga instructor. She has been working with women in all stages of motherhood since 2006. Cicely brings a wealth of experience to her work.
Erin McCabe is a Professional Yoga Therapist with five years experience and a passion for restoring vitality through breath work and movement.
Cicely and Erin both believe in an individualized, integrative health care approach and are delighted to be offering this course.
