Clara Martin Center

Clara Martin Center is available to individuals, couples, families, adults, children, adolescents, businesses, and other professionals who need mental health services. Clara Martin Center provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse care within these major categories: Adult Services, Child and Family Services, School Services, Corrections Services, and Substance Abuse Services.

Early Care and Education Association (ECEA)

The Early Care and Education Association (ECEA), formerly known as the Upper Valley Child Care Association, has recently revisited and revised its purpose, mission and vision. This internal assessment revealed that although the overall intent of the association was still relevant, the need for a more formal and formidable association was necessary.

New Hampshire Child Care Licensing Unit

The Child Care Licensing Unit helps ensure that children attending NH-based child care programs are in safe and healthy environments. Child Care Search contains information on New Hampshire's approximately 1,200 licensed child care programs.

The Family Place

The Family Place Parent Child Center supports the positive growth and development of all parents by offering services that encourage families to build on their strengths. Through home visits, parenting classes and groups, early intervention, counseling, and family support, The Family Place works to help families with the important job of parenting.

The Special Needs Support Center

The Special Needs Support Center of the Upper Valley (SNSC) assists children with special needs - any type of special need, such as Down syndrome, autism, hearing or visual impairment, diabetes, and many others- and their families as they face unique challenges. SNSC is a grassroots organization, started 30 years ago by families of children with special needs.

Vermont 2-1-1

Vermont 2-1-1 provides all people in Vermont with free access to community resources through information and referral (I&R). This access includes personal assistance by telephone and online through a searchable database of services, including Child Care Resource and Referral, Parenting Programs, and many more.

Vermont Child Care Information Services is the place for parents and child care providers to get answers to questions about child care, early education, school age care, and the services available to help ensure that high quality child care is available to every child in Vermont who needs it.
 
Vermont Children's Aid Society

The mission of the Vermont Children's Aid Society (VCAS) is to support and strengthen families by promoting safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children. VCAS provides services that address adoption, foster care, transition and change issues, guardianship, kinship care, and parent incarceration.


Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of VT and NH

The Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of VT and NH (VNAH) is committed to providing the highest quality homecare and support services to individuals and their families, while also serving the communities of VT and NH with clinics, education, and wellness programs.

Waypoint

Formerly Child and Family Services, Waypoint is an independent nonprofit agency dedicated to advancing the well-being of children by providing an array of social services to strengthen family life and by promoting community commitment to the needs of children.


West Central Behavioral Health

West Central Behavioral Health (WCBH) is a nonprofit, community-based, mental health organization serving the needs of individuals and families in NH's lower Grafton and Sullivan counties. WCBH offers a wide range of specialized services for individuals of every age who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, or addictive disorders.

Window Dressers (Energy Saving WIndow services) WD focuses on helping people reduce heat loss through leaky windows by partnering with local community volunteers to produce custom-made inserts for homes needing better window insulation.  In the UV last year, in addition to Norwich/Hanover, there were WD builds in Hartford/Hartland/Sharon, Woodstock, Randolph/Bethel, New London, and Bradford. WISE (Women's Information Services)

WISE advances social justice through community education, training, and public policy. WISE's mission is to empower victims of domestic and sexual violence and stalking to become safe and self-reliant through crisis intervention and support services.


Women's Health Resource Center

As a community service of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, the Women's Health Resource Center (WHRC) is committed to promoting preventative care and respecting women's wisdom in making informed healthcare decisions. WHRC educators are available to answer questions about childbirth preparation, postpartum care, and breastfeeding issues. WHRC also provides resources through its lending library, classes, and support groups.
